Fine satinwood top with mahogany crossbanding and ebony stringing. To the back, a pull up silk upholstered privacy screen
Apron with with frieze drawer with diamond escutcheon plate. Drawers opens to reveal space for papers, pull out compartment for pens and inkwells. To either side matching frieze dummy drawers. To the right of the table, a pull out slide with a green baize lined writing surface.
Carried on four tapered legs with geometric ebony stringing. Brass capped feet with original brass casters
Measures 55 x 49.5 x 76 (height) cm
Beautiful satinwood and fine quality. Worked to all sides allowing it to stand proudly in the centre of a room. Removed from an Elizabethan stately house in Worcestershire. Offered in very good polished condition.
