We are very pleased to offer a good looking bust of the Roman goddess of wisdom Minerva.
It was purchased from the estate of a titled family in Herefordshire, having been orignally purchased on a Grand Tour of Italy in the nineteenth century. It dates from the early Victorian period.
The body is of bronze and has been polished to a high sheen. Its is affized to a square black marble base
Offered in very good condition commensurate with age.
