The quatrelobed body with ornate moulding around the broad shoulder and applied Renaissance style handles is raised on a gadrooned base and chamfered square foot, with pierced cover with flower bud finial.

It is finely painted with plums, grapes, peaches and damsons on an ivory ground, signed Roberts.

Heavily gilded in gold leaf to the lid, handles and base.
